ABOUT THE SPEAKER
As a Family Law Attorney and Mediator, Amy Gertler works with and guides couples facing the daunting process of uncoupling. For most, the experience of dissolving a marriage is an existential passage in life. Choosing the right path and staying on it is key to a healthy outcome–one in which all family members are intact. She also is an artist and owner of Frolic & Detour, an Evanston shop featuring vintage furniture, apparel, and art. She embraces the philosophy of ancient legendary Chinese Taoist Lao Tzu–If you don’t change your direction, you might end up where you’re headed.
