Viviane, a wealthy, single woman with no immediate family, chose to have a baby on her own. The play begins when Viviane invites her closest friends to her vacation home off the coast of Maine. There, Viviane reveals that she has been enduring a paralyzing struggle with parenthood. Rather than a weekend retreat, Viviane has gathered her friends to determine which one of them would be willing to raise her child.
